Shirley Hubbard, Age 15, Died in 1974 at cromwell street, Gloucester, By Fred west & Rosie west, But wasent found till 1994-1995, Shirley was my 1st cousin, Shirley was 1 out of few others that got murdered & burried in the celler at cromwell street, So sad i dident get to meet you, I know that you used to come to my mum`s house with you brother & mum, R.I.P, My dearest Shirley, Hope you`ve linked up with the Hull-Girls Rachel would be your 2nd cousin She also died at the age of 17 in a tragic car crash, Love you & i`m always thinking of you, Sweet-Dreams, From your 1st cousin Alison xxxxxxx !

Dear Shirley, I remember your happy smile and your laugh as we used to sit together in class, as if it were yesterday.You always used to joke that you wanted to run away and join the circus. I thought that was where you had gone when you didn't come back to school. I am so sorry that awful fate befell you my friend. Please rest in peace ,love from Mary xx

Your legacy lives on
I celebrated my 30th birthday not so long ago, guess i reached a mildstone, however i think back 15 years when i first watched the news and opened the papers. unknown what i was reading & watching was going to end up giving me nightmares and sleepless nights, eventhough i lived miles away in london. i was haunted by the story.
still 15 years later, i can never forget it, i,ve cried,& tried to understand how something so tragic can happen, it can't make sense to me. the only thing that does from all this, is that we must fight to end the evil treating of children and protect our young from horror of this kind.
I still see you as being only 15 years old, and i see you as being yonger than me, even though you walked 5 years before my birth, i think of you and the others as being like young sisters to me, who i wish i could have protected,looked after and guided, But i promise to you dear sweet angel.
I will never hurt a living thing, and i'll do my upmost to protect children in honour of you ad the other girls.
